About Bhadra Sharma

Bhadra Sharma is a Kathmandu-based journalist. Mr. Sharma has been reporting for The New York Times since 2013 with focus on impacts of climate change in the South Asia region, disasters, mountains and geo-politics in the region. Over the years, he covered 2015’s deadly earthquakes, snowstorms, avalanches, floods, landslides and other incidents of natural disasters. Before reporting for the Times, he worked for Nepal’s English language national dailies The Rising Nepal, The Kathmandu Post and Republica among others.
