Mikael Angelo Francisco is a Filipino freelance science journalist. He is the Editor in Chief of FlipScience.ph, a Philippine-based science news and features website. He has been writing about science for seven years and has received numerous awards and recognition for his work, including the Asian Scientist Merit Prize and the Outstanding S&T Media Practitioner Award from the Philippines’ Department of Science and Technology. He also conducts lectures and workshops on science communication and creative writing.
