About Vanja Joice Bispo Santos

Journalist from UFPA and Master in Communication and Contemporary Cultures from the Federal University of Bahia. Science and Technology Analyst at Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi/MCTI, where she headed Social Communication, was substitute coordinator of Communication and Extension, member of strategic planning committees, coordinator of the scientific dissemination and science communication component in programs and projects, such as Coastal Studies Program, PIATAM Mar, PIATAM Oceano, Biota Pará, Márcio Ayres Prize for Young Naturalists and the School of Amazon Biodiversity of INCT Biodiversity and Land Use in the Amazon.

Currently coordinates the Laboratory of Public Communication of Science in the Amazon and communication at INCT NEXUS. She was coordinator of Scientific Dissemination at the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Environment of the State of Pará (1995 – 1997), debater on the program Sem Censura Pará (1995 – 2012) on TV Cultura Pará. Presenter of the programs Eureka and Ciência Legal on Radioweb UFPA . He has experience in the area of ​​Communication, with an emphasis on Scientific Journalism, Print and audiovisual editing, Public Communication of Science, Organization and Management of Institutional Communication and Discourse Analysis.

As a professor of Postgraduate courses, he taught courses on Communication Consulting and Science Communication.
