About Maria Carolina Braga Esteves Santos Franco

Carolina Franco has written about culture, youth, gender and human rights. She increasingly believes that everything is connected. She is a contributing journalist on the media literacy project PÚBLICO na Escola, and co-editor of Shifter. Carolina studied Communication Sciences in Porto, where she was born and raised, has a postgraduate degree in Art Curatorship and a masters in Anthropology – Visual Cultures with a thesis on the importance of transgender representation in cinema and television. Her work can be found in Gerador, Setenta e Quatro, MIL Magazine, Flan Zine, Público.
