SJF25 will be a hybrid event, offering both virtual and in-person participation. Attendees can join online via Whova or attend select sessions and networking opportunities in person in the UAE.

Yes, in-person sessions will be live-streamed for virtual attendees.

Are there different ticket types for virtual and in-person attendance?

Yes, we offer separate tickets for virtual and in-person participation. Virtual attendees can also upgrade their tickets if they decide to switch formats.

How do I switch from virtual to in-person attendance or vice versa?

What does the cost of an in-person ticket cover?

The in-person ticket only covers access to the forum sessions, workshops, and networking activities. Attendees are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, meals, and any additional expenses. However, we provide recommendations for nearby hotels and venues to help you plan your visit.

Do you provide certificates for attending the forum?

Yes, attendees—whether joining in person or virtually—who participate in at least 50% of SJF25’s sessions will receive a certificate of attendance.

Will there be live language interpretation for each session?

No, live language interpretation will not be available. However, sessions and workshops conducted in different languages, and you can customize your agenda accordingly. For in-person attendees, session details will indicate the language of delivery.

What is the ticket cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your registration, please use the link in your confirmation email or email info@scicommx.com with "Cancellation" in the subject line. If the cancellation request is received before the forum begins, you will receive a full refund. However, no refunds can be made once the forum event starts on October 27. Please note that non-attendance does not constitute a cancellation, and purchasing a ticket grants you access to the recordings of all forum sessions, including past sessions. However, we encourage you to attend the event in real-time to maximize the benefits of networking and interacting with peers and experts.

Can I share my forum login information with others?

No, each attendee has a personalized registration and login, which cannot be shared. Virtual access is limited to one device per login, while in-person attendees will have their own unique credentials for event access.

Are all the forum sessions recorded?

Yes, all sessions at SJF25, whether held online or in person, will be recorded and made available exclusively to registered attendees after the event. You will receive an email notification when the recordings are uploaded to the website.

When will I receive event access instructions?

Within a few weeks before SJF25, you will receive an email at the address used for registration. This email will contain detailed instructions on how to access and navigate the event, whether attending in person or virtually.

What if I miss a session or workshop?

All SJF25 sessions—whether attended virtually or in person—will be recorded, allowing you to revisit any missed content for up to one year after the forum.
