EFSJ Climate Investigation Grant: Stories from the Field

During this session, Klaartje will explain how she came up with the ‘Biased Biomass’ idea which helped her win the 2020 Climate Grant, and how it has developped since. Working online with a country like Zambia proved difficult, but so did working with an industry that was not ready to face the implications of her research. Nearly a year later, things have changed the other way around, and Klaartje is about to explore the wood industry in Europe itself.
