Desciption
Egab is a media startup that helps local journalists across the Middle East and Africa publish stories in regional and international media outlets and helps the latter find normally inaccessible unique and original content.
In this session, the founder will explain why she decided to leave the BBC to launch Egab. What steps she took to create a media startup from scratch and what Egab learnt and achieved in its first year?
The session is useful for those interested in diversity and inclusion, solutions journalism and media entrepreneurship.
