How to use Twitter to get your work (and yourself) noticed

English Track

Desciption

There is a lot of science content out there and the internet has made them more accessible than ever before. So much so that quality alone is no longer a guarantee of getting noticed. But there is a way to move above the pack: Twitter. Across ten years of working in journalism and audience development with Nature Publishing Group and The Conversation, I’ve helped scientists and science journalists get their work noticed on Twitter, and I’ve seen many build an audience for their work and create great opportunities for themselves. In this session, I’ll give you a simple, actionable guide on how you too can get started on Twitter, to provide value to people, and get noticed.
