The reconfiguration of journalism in search of a larger audience involves a new way of captivating the public. Without neglecting critical thinking, transformative journalistic processes underway in society deserve to be the focus of the debate.

Engaged communication places people and social participation as leading actors. But how do we bring this transformation to everyday journalism? This session aims to discuss the modern concept of solutions journalism, helping to chart paths and show how social communication is central to disseminating socio-environmental solutions implemented by Brazilian communities.
