Blockchain has become a confusing subject for the general public to understand as it\’s often conflated with Bitcoin, a service that uses Blockchain technology. In this session, I\’d like to discuss what Blockchain actually is, why it may be confusing, and how best to write about this technology. My session will go over the history of blockchain, the industry as a whole (including key players), and where the industry seems to be going.
