About Agustín B. Ávila Casanueva

Head of the Outreach Unit for the Center for Genomic Sciences of the National University of México, and a member of the Red Mexicana de Periodistas de Ciencia. As part of the “Ciencia Beat” collective,he was awarded the National Journalism Prize in 2018 in the Science Communication Category. His work has been published by Tec Review, Botany ONE, Gatopardo, Este País, La Revista de la Universidad, and other outlets.
