she’s a journalist with 10 years of experience in both journalism and translation related to the field. Since 2005 she covered several fields Including economic and business news, political issues, environmental, civil society and human rights.
she started her career in Middle East news agency (state owned), then moved in 2008 to al Shorouk newspaper (independent) where she covered several issues including business news, environment, civil society and diplomatic reporting. she also cooperate with other outlets (including al- Ahram weekly, Aswaat Masrya) with separate stories.
she was graduated from the faculty of languages (Spanish department) and she had training with several distinguished institutions including Reuters foundation, BBC, it focused on journalism, its relations to social networks and how to link them together.
Currently, she’s Chief editor of Nature Arabic edition, the Arabic version of Nature magazine, one of the leading science journals worldwide. she works with her team to produce a high quality, easy to understand scientific text as part of our goal to deliver science to everyone speaking the Arabic language.
she tries to maintain a friendly environment within the group she’s working with and she like team work as she feel that it leads to better results. she also tries to write in the most suitable way that helps more readers to understand complicated or tough issues, especially when it comes to economy that many don’t like.
she tries to enlarge her network and diversify it as she believe it is an important asset for her, keeping in touch with old colleagues and managers to make use of their different experiences.
