About Cagri Mert Bakirci-Taylor
I am the founder and the CEO of the largest popular science organization in Turkey called Evrim Ağacı (Tree of Evolution), which is a digital platform for science enthusiasts and scientists in Turkey. I graduated from the Middle East Technical University and received my Ph.D. in Texas Tech University. After completing our doctoral studies in 2018, my wife and I decided to create our own business out of Evrim Ağacı, which had already been informing the public on modern science since 2010. In the meantime, I published 3 best-selling popular books on science and skepticism, thousands of popular science articles, as well as hundreds of videos with my team.
