About Carmina de la Luz

Journalist and popularizer of science, environment, and health with training in biology. She has experience in audiovisual, written, and infographic media. She was a scriptwriter and host of the program Where science is done, produced by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her written work has been published in the digital magazine Tangible, of the newspaper El Universal, México Desconocido, and Todo Sobre el Espacio (Spanish edition of the British magazine All About Space). She has received scholarships from the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing, the Thomson Reuters Foundation and the Erice International School of Science Journalism. She currently works as a fact-checker at Pictoline.
