About Fredilson da Veiga Melo
Fredilson Melo is a PhD student, studying plant response to abiotic stresses, at ITQB NOVA, in Portugal. In his spare time, he tries to democratize access to information by producing “Inxinando”, a short animation videos webseries about STEM subjects, narrated in Cape-Verdean creole, the mother tongue of his native country, Cabo Verde.
With this project he aims to broaden the access to STEM by people who are not native speakers of English, for both gaining and wells as contributing to the body of human knowledge.
