About Grandon Gaëlle

Born in Avignon, Gaëlle Grandon is a journalist and director. graduated from the Paris Media Institute and the European Film Production Training Center, with dual training in documentary and screenwriting, in 2020 she created her production company, Zinnia, a flower symbol of wisdom among the Pueblos of Mexico. This creation follows a rich journey of 13 years of audiovisual journalism, from investigation to reporting (culture, society, consumption, ecology), in front of and behind the cameras.

Curious about practices from the end of the world as well as from the end of the street, she highlights territories, people and life stories, in France and abroad (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Ile-de- France, Burgundy-Franche-Comté, United States, Canada, Malta, United Kingdom, Russia, Comoros, etc.). Always expecting the unexpected, she also nourishes her knowledge of the world through travel where she indifferently integrates environments from the most informal to the most formal (Europe, India, Egypt, Trans-Siberian, Mongolia, China, Brazil, etc.). Exploring the different facets of human complexity, our fragilities, the links between body and mind, she highlights our contradictions, our doubts, our anxieties and also our blockages.

It flees dogmas, segmentations and silos, which separate us, to offer us intersections, like so many bridges between worlds that ignore each other, to transform them into sources of inspiration.
