About Iván Carrillo

Editor, TV host and science journalist. For more than 12 years he was the editor of QUO magazine. He is a fellow (2016-2017) of the Knight Science Journalist Fellowship at MIT. He has collaborated with Natgeo, History Channel, Discovery Channel, CNN en Español, Espansión, Milenio, El Universal, Undark magazine, among many others. He is the Co-founder of the digital magazine Tangible, I, Historias sin Fronteras and En común —Conocimiento en Voz viva—, a radio program that bridges the gap between indigenous communities and science researchers in México. He has been a jury and curator of Falling walls, Ciudad de las Ideas, CONACYT Awards, among others. His work has received the most important national journalistic awards. Currently, he is the editor in chief of Tec review, a platform from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Grupo Expansion and host of Noticiero Científico y Cultural (NCC) which is broadcast in 18 countries in LATAM and Spain.
