About Leonor Solís Rojas

Leonor Solís is head of the Outreach and Environmental Communication Unit of the Institute for Research in Ecosystems and Sustainability at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

She is currently doing her PhD research in audiovisual journalism on climate change in social media at the University of Navarra, Spain.

Leonor has coordinated the audiovisual media division of the Mexican Society for the Popularization of Science and Technology (SOMEDICYT) is a founding member of the Mexican Network of Science Journalists and since 2019 part of the Board of Directors of the International Environmental Communication Association (IECA).
