About Luiz Felipe Fernandes Neves
Brazilian journalist who works at the Communication Department of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), combining academic research with professional practice in science communication, science journalism, organizational communication, and digital social networks. He is a member of two science communication projects at UFG, for which he received the Dom Tomás Balduíno Human Rights Award in 2019. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Biosciences and Health at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz). He is also a master in Communication and has worked for several years as a reporter and executive producer for Brazilian TV stations and newspapers.
