About María del Carmen Climént

Maricarmen works in the Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication at the University of Cambridge on improving risk communication in health and journalism. She worked for a decade as a science journalist on TV and radio and practised theatre for several years. This hybrid background boosted her interest in voice management in journalism. She studied Veterinary Medicine and an MSc in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), followed by an MSc in Science Communication at the University of Sheffield in 2015.
