About Michaela Lundell

A biologist and journalist by training from Stockholm University, Michaela Lundell worked for many years as a science journalist for Swedish popular scientific magazines and public service radio and TV. Then followed a period at the Swedish Museum of Natural History as a science communicator. She is currently working at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency building science communication capacity in low- and middle-income countries and facilitating research-related communication events.
Starting off her career in science journalism with the driving force to convey exciting science stories, with time she has grown more and more interested in the full responsibilities of science journalism, including critically investigating conditions and priorities in the research system, and scientific fraud.
