About Rachel Courtland

Rachel Courtland is a commissioning editor at MIT Technology Review, where she works primarily with freelancers on stories for the print magazine as well as the web. Prior to joining Tech Review, she worked as an editor on the features team at Nature and at the engineering magazine IEEE Spectrum.

She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics and is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz science communication program.
