Sara Matar, Lebanon Senior Journalist, working as Reporter and Editor for Regional and Local newspapers and websites since 2007. Communications Coordinator and Public Relations Specialist, previously for the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture and for several International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs), dealing with human rights issues, women empowerment, equality, combating violence against women and children, enhancing leadership, focusing on environmental and health issues, protecting refugees and vulnerable societies.

Media Consultant and Arabic Copywriter for Public Relations Agencies in Lebanon and abroad. As well as the Director in Charge for a Lebanese Magazine since 2018. Media Coordinator for events concerning a film about Syrian Women Refugees suffer and the impact as well on Lebanese Women. In addition to a study about the Image of Women in Media and Ads.

Member of Blue Peace Initiative for preserving water in Middle East. Awarded United Nations Development Program and Agence France-Presse (AFP) prize for Peace Journalism.

Awarded Reham Al-Farra (RAF) Memorial Journalists Fellowship Programme held by the United Nations, as one of 15 journalists chosen from 15 developing countries. BA in Radio – TV/Journalism, Lebanese Certificate Diploma in Scientific Journalism – Canadian Certificate.
