About Siri Carpenter

Siri Carpenter is an award-winning journalist and editor whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Science, Discover, Scientific American, and elsewhere. She is co-founder and editor-in-chief of the nonprofit journalism organization The Open Notebook and editor of the book The Craft of Science Writing. She has a Ph.D. in psychology from Yale University and is a past president of the National Association of Science Writers. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin, U.S.
