Ph.D. in Logic and Philosophy of Science – Cum Laude – University of Salamanca. Master’s Degree in Social Studies of Science and Technology – University of Salamanca. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication – Central University of Ecuador.

Currently, Coordinator of ESPOL Divulga, a scientific outreach project of the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral ESPOL. Host of the web show “”Repensando el Mañana Ecuador,”” focusing on scientific and cultural outreach, which is sponsored by Fundación Telefónica Movistar Ecuador. Researcher at the Interuniversity Observatory of Ecuadorian Media (OIME). Co-founder and Coordinator of KUNA, a community of science and ancestral knowledge outreach in Ecuador. Actively involved in science outreach activities in Ecuador and Spain for over 15 years. Also worked as a university lecturer at UTE University, UDLA, and the Regional Amazon University IKIAM.

Research interests include science outreach in universities, the impact of social media on science communication, and the analysis of public perception of science and technology.
