Samya Ayish

Samya Ayish is a Google News Initiative Teaching Fellow in the Middle East and North Africa.
As part of her role, Samya conducts extensive workshops in newsrooms to train journalists on
digital tools of journalism and storytelling. Samya Ayish comes from a journalism background.
She worked previously at CNN Arabic in Dubai for about 15 years, covering news related to
cinema and film, a topic she still writes about.
