A Tactical Guide to Science Journalism: New Perspectives on Global Reporting

English Track

Desciption

Climate change. Infectious disease. Environmental protection. Many of today’s most important science stories know no geopolitical boundaries.

In this session, you’ll hear from four leading journalists who contributed chapters on global reporting to the recently published “A Tactical Guide to Science Journalism,” including essays on cross-border collaboration, reporting in the Global South, telling narrative stories from abroad, and reporting in authoritarian regimes.

Attendees will pick up tips and skills they can use to bring global perspectives into their reporting.
